Initially, the robot may sit at the bottom of the pool for a few seconds as it prepares to scan the pool and map out the best route for cleaning. If after this scanning period, the robot still is not moving:
If you are using an extension cord, plug your power supply directly into an outlet to see if you have a faulty cord – we do not recommend using an extension cord, but if no direct outlet is available, make sure that your extension cord is heavy duty.Turn off and unplug the cleaner. Turn the cleaner on its back and roll the brushes with your hands. If you feel some resistance, there may be something caught in the tracks of the cleaner.
Ensure that your power supply is remaining ON throughout the cycle
Remove the cleaner from the pool and check for any obstructions in the drive system.
Check the filter cartridges and clean/rinse them out if necessary. A full debris compartment can obstruct water flow, slowing the unit down.Scrub your pool walls – there may be un-bloomed algae or biofilm build-up on the walls making them too slippery for the robot’s brushes.Check your water chemistry – a high pH level may prevent the robot from climbing the walls.Check your water temperature – if the pool is too cold (less than 65 degrees Fahrenheit), the brushes will not be flexible enough to climb the pool walls.
Make sure the cable has enough slack to allow the robot access to all areas of your poolCheck the filter cartridges and clean/rinse them out if necessaryTurn off and unplug the cleaner. Turn the cleaner on its back and roll the brushes with your hands.

Scrub your pool floor – there may be un-bloomed algae or biofilm build-up on the pool surface making them too slippery for the robot’s brushes
If the cable has not been stored in a large loose coil and has been allowed to sit for a while in this position, it may “remember” the twists and turns. Stretch out the cable completely and let it sit in the sun for a few hours to relax. Recoil again in a relaxed loop position.
