Liquid Filter Rinse serves as a chemical rinse agent to clean and refresh the sand in your pool filter. Over time, a build-up of mineral deposits and dirt can become trapped between the sand particles of your pool’s filter. Filter Rinse removes organic and inorganic debris from the sand that backwashing alone cannot remove. Filter Rinse is to be used with sand filters only.
Regular use of Filter Rinse whenever you backwash your filter will keep it operating at peak efficiency – especially during pool closing. A dirty filter at closing time can result in hardened scale deposits that cake over the winter.

How to use Aqua-Guard Filter Rinse

1. Ensure that any automatic devices are closed or bypassed, enabling maximum intake from the skimmer
2. Before application, remove all disinfectant from the pool skimmer basket
3. With the filter on BACKWASH, SLOWLY pour 250ml of Filter Rinse into the skimmer so that it goes directly through the filter.
4. Complete backwash cycle as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
