Chlorinating tablets that release a maintainable level of chlorine to control bacteria and algae in swimming pools. HTH Extra capsules have 65% available chlorine and are unstabilized. This product is an alternative to the standard 3″ chlorinating pucks and does not contain Cyanuric Acid. With HTH Extra Duration Pucks, you’ll have a steady source of chlorine in your swimming pool. These chlorinating tablets cannot be used in chlorinators and must sit in the skimmer basket or in a floating chlorine dispenser.

Directions: Add tablets into skimmer on a weekly basis according to the table below:

So happy I found a Chlorine puck without stabilizer in it…will never go back to stabilized pucks. My water is sparkling.
Had to change type of pucks due to high CYA readings and HTH non-stabilized pucks have helped keep pool water clean without adding to my above problem and getting me through the rest of the season.
