Proper pH levels are crucial for spa and hot tub maintenance. The recommended range is between 7.2 and 7.6. When pH drops below 7.2, the water becomes acidic and may lead to skin and eye irritation. Low pH also destabilizes chlorine, making it less effective at controlling bacteria, algae, and organic matter.
Directions:
- One capful of pH Booster holds approximately 30 g.
- Test the water regularly for pH and bromine/chlorine levels.
- Broadcast pH Booster over the water according to the table below.
- Allow the water to circulate for 1 hour before entering your hot tub.
